When you enroll in your benefits, it is important to make your enrollment decisions carefully because you will not have another opportunity to enroll until the Open Enrollment period in the fall for the following year. The only other time you may make changes is if you experience a Qualified Life Event, such as:
If you’ve experienced a Qualified Life Event, you must update your benefits with 45 days of the Life Event. If you do not complete the enrollment process within 45 days of the event, you will not be able to change your coverage until the next Open Enrollment period.
